The Horeb Mar Thoma church celebrated the Christmas Carol Service on Sun, Dec 21st by having a special worship service followed by special events by the Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Choir, Sevika Sangham and other organizations. Rev. Dr. Bau Dang the Sr. Pastor at United Methodist Church who is also a translator of the Vietnamese Bible provided an enriching and thought provoking sermon.

The Horeb Mar Thoma church celebrated thanksgiving on Sun, Nov 23rd by remembering the efforts and the sacrifices that our past and existing diaspora has taken for us to cherish these days. The presence of our Almighty God has always been felt very closely in each of our lives and as a fellowship, we are very “grateful”
The Sevika Sangham Day was celebrated on September 21, 2014. The auction was a great success followed by a delicious “sadhya”!
The Second Annual Church Retreat at Pine Summit, Big Bear Lake.
The theme was “Missional Family” and the speaker was Dr. Sam George, Executive Director, Parivar International
The Horeb MTC celebrated the VBS at the church from July 31-Aug 3rd of 2014. The theme of this year was “Jungle Safari” where kids learned about God as the Creator, Provider, Protector, Savior and King. There were special sessions for adults also. Thanks to all the coordinators, teachers, volunteers, donors and especially the kids for their very energetic participation during this year’s VBS.
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church joined together to celebrate their 2nd picnic since the formation of a church at the Carbon Canyon Region Park in Brea on Sat, July 26th.
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church celebrated the Holy Communion Service with His Grace Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thoma Metropolitan thirumeni on Sunday, May 11 2014. This was thirumeni maiden visit to the Horeb Mar Thoma Church. Thirumeni conducted the first communion service of our very own Yasmeen, daughter of Ivan and Reni Thomas. God bless you and keep you !!
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church celebrated Easter Fest at the GGUMC this year on Sat, April 19th. Thanks to all the organizers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and the especially participants. Praise God for his mercies all through the Passion Week.
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church (Edavaka) Mission is conducted an outreach to the Buena Park Homeless shelter on Saturday, April 12 at 5:00 pm. We got an opportunity to pray, sing worship hymns and a share the word of God with the inhabitants of the homeless shelter. Of course, we had food to share with everyone.. Thanks to all who could make it.
