The Horeb Mar Thoma Church joined together for the Convention and Parish day from Oct 2-4, 2015. The speaker for this year was Evangelist Samuel T. Chacko who is a partner with the One Hope Ministries in Bangalore. The theme for this year was The Victorious Christian Life based on John 10:10b

The Horeb Mar Thoma Church celebrated the Sevika Sangham day on Sep 13th with a special service alongside the Holy Communion service. Following the service, the Sevika Sangham organized the auction and served dinner for all the attendees.
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church had its annual retreat for the year 2015 at Camp Wrightwood located at Wrightwood, CA from Sept 4-6 during the labor day weekend. Our main speaker for this year was Rev. Baiju Markose who is currently doing his PhD at Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago. The theme for this year was “Faith-ing Everyday: Channels and Challenges”.
The Horeb Mar Thoma Church is planning for the annual retreat for the year 2015 at Camp Wrightwood located at Wrightwood, CA from Sept 4-6 during the labor day weekend. The theme for this year is “Faith-ing Everyday: Reading Signs of our Time” based on Matthew 16:3. Achen will look at how we apply faith everyday in the context of today’s contemporary issues like culture of anxiety, busyness, consumption, media, etc.

The Horeb Mar Thoma Church joined together to celebrate their 3rd annual picnic at the Cerritos Park on Sat, July 18th. It was a refereshing time to enjoy good food, activities and fellowship with our members and friends.
Godly men work diligently to be good fathers and positive role models. A man who is respected by his children is a man destined for greatness. This father’s day we honor our father’s and grandfather’s who has shown us the love and discipline of our heavenly father. Thank you for being there for us.
