First Communicants March 2019
We are blessed and pleased to have 12 young adults from our member families celebrate their First Communion with our Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos on Saturday, March 30, 2019. The First Communicants are Meha Thomas, Meghana Varughese, Serena John, Leann Varghese, Ruth Simon, Joana Thomas, Ruth Jacob, Serena Chacko, Nathan Chacko, Jayden Chacko, Sanjay Babu and Jaden Mathew. Congratulations to them and we pray that they lead Christ centered lives. Pictures from this Service are shown below.
Western Regional MTVEA Conference
The Western Regional MTVEA Conference was held at Horeb MTC, Los Angeles, on February 16-17, 2019. The theme was “Died For You, Live For Him” and the main speaker was Dr. Vino Daniel from Philadelphia. There were about 250 attendees for the Conference and the event was a blessing to all who attended. A big thanks to the convener Mr. Manoj Mathew, the coordinator Mr. Philip Jacob and the many volunteers for making this a blessed event.

Christmas Carol Service 2018
We had a wonderful Christmas Carol service on December 23, 2018. Thanks to the Carol Service coordinators – Anina Cholakath & Jayni Abraham – and the many volunteers and participants from Sunday School, Youth Fellowship, Choir, Sevika Sangham and other organizations for making this service a memorable one. The Christmas Carol message was given by Finney Premkumar.

We had our Christmas Carol Rounds on December 1 & 8, 2018. Many thanks to our Vicar Rev. Dennis Abraham, coordinator Joshi John, volunteers and carolers for bringing Christmas cheer to our member homes. A video of the Carol Rounds is given below:

Thanksgiving Dinner 2018
Our Thanksgiving Dinner was held on Sunday, November 18, 2018. A big thanks to the coordinator Dr. Sobha Mammen and the many volunteers for the preparation and setup of the sumptuous meal.
Convention and Parish Day 2018
We had our Annual Convention and Parish Day from Oct 5-7, 2018. The theme was “Revival of Families” based on Joshua 24:15. The speaker for Friday & Saturday was Dr. Shaun Rajan, Professor (Mathematics), Member of St. Andrew’s MTC, Yonkers, NY. Our vicar Rev. Dennis Abraham gave the message on Sunday. The Sunday Service was also led by Rev. George Varghese. The Sunday Service was followed by a dinner at Acker Hall.
A big thanks to Mr. Joshi John for coordinating the Convention and Parish Day events.
Harmonies of Praise
Horeb Mar Thoma Church and St. Peter’s CSI church choirs organized a Unity Musical Evening, “Harmonies of Praise”, on Saturday, September 8, 2018. The event was a great success thanks to the effort put in by the choirs, the choir directors – Juby Mathew and Priji Eapen, and the numerous volunteers.
