Rev. Dennis Abraham – First Service
Our new vicar Rev. Dennis Abraham celebrated his first Holy Communion Service on August 5, 2018. This was followed by a felicitation program for Achen.
VBS 2018
VBS was held from Aug 2-4, 2018. The theme was “Discovering God’s Forever Forgiveness”. A big thanks to the coordinator Moni Varghese, Sunday School Children, Volunteers and Parents for making this a memorable event. For the first time we had children from the Garden Grove United Methodist Church attending this event.
Picnic 2018
The annual church picnic was held at Mason Park in Irvine on Saturday, June 23, 2018. We had a great turnout and lots of food, fun and games! A big thanks to the coordinator Thomas Mammen, contributors and participants for making this a memorable event.
Sunday School Olympiad 2018
The Sunday School Olympiad was held on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The event was a big success thanks to the coordinator Anna Chandy, Sunday School Children, Volunteers and Parents.
Fathers Day Slideshow 2018
Fathers Day was celebrated at church with a special song by Sunday School children and a video on our fathers and grandfathers. The coordinators Anoushka and Sherin did a great job!
Mothers Day Slideshow 2018
We celebrated Mothers Day at church with a special video presentation and a song by Sunday School children honoring the mothers and grandmothers. A big thanks to Anoushka and Sherin for coordinating this celebration and putting together this video.
Easter Fest and Easter Sunday Service 2018
Easter Fest was celebrated by our children with loads of fun and games. We prepared 100+ Easter baskets on Saturday and it was delivered to Grandma’s House of Hope that afternoon.
The Easter Message was given by Saji Oommen who dwelt on the topic of Reconciliation. We also had special songs by the Sunday School children and our Choir followed by dinner.
Diocesan Sunday
The Diocesan Sunday (Pulpit Exchange) – Holy Communion service was led by Rev. Liju John, Vicar of Los Angeles Mar Thoma Church, Glendora.
